STUDENTS’ EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES
BUSINESS PRACTICAL TRAINING FIRMS Business Practical Training Firms (further in the text BPTF) BPTF firms are companies which simulate the activity of real enterprises and processes which happen in a real enterprise. In a BPT firm there are four typical departments: personnel, purchase, sales and marketing, finance and accounting. BPT firm has everything real (financial documents, agreements, tax tariffs, firm operates according to the existing legal acts of the Lithuanian Republic, taking into consideration real currency exchange rates, etc.). The difference is that there are no real material goods (they exist only in documents) and money is not real (only in records of a simulated bank, in BPTF account-books and other documents). While working in practical training firms, pupils and students try to solve problems, which arise during their work, independently, to implement their ideas and plans as well as to gain practical experience of working in a business enterprise. |
